ROGER ZIMISH
Roger is a native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Roger was born with music in him just waiting to get out and be expressed. He started working as a professional musician at the age of 16 playing in regional bands throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. He has taught guitar at several music stores and worked for Ibanez Guitars. His talents expanded at that time doing sound and lights production work with the Hooters, Blues Traveler, and at the legendary "Warehouse Recording Studio" in Philadelphia, Pa. "In 1992, I went to a three day Christian Rock Concert, 'Creation 92' with my family. That changed my life and my musical focus. Who said that Rock n Roll can't change your world?" says Roger. God blessed his talents with more opportunities to grow musically. In 1993 Roger and his family relocated to Central Florida and he immediately founded various bands to create music. He also released two solo CDs: "Reach" and "Prayer Meditation". He was nominated for Solo Guitarist of the Year in 2003 by the Songwriters Showcase of America. Roger's talents and styles cover a very wide spectrum, with electric and acoustic guitar and various other instruments. Styles from easy listening to heavy metal and everything in between. This decade has expanded him in many areas. Roger became an instructor for the California Christian Guitar conference, working with such artists as Reggie Coats, Randy Stonehill, Doyle Dykes, Wes King and one of his biggest influences Phil Keggy.
